Wednesday 3 September

The last posting should have read 2 September. Obviously the dates are in Eastern Standard time.

We have been driving this morning around the small villages in this area and visited the smallest town in Germany which is called Arnis. It is on the fjiord Schlei and is absolutely beautiful. Nico's daughter was married in the Lutheran Church in Arnis 2 weeks ago so we went in for a look and were blown away by how beautiful it is and of course it is hundreds of years old. Also drove past Nico's old house where we spent part of our honeymoon all those years ago and have visited several times since then. It is a massive thatched house with extensive lawns, orchard, and many barns. Tonight we are having drinks and dinner with old friends we met in 1972 and who still live next door to the old house.
Go Pies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone out there going for the Crows???

Hi Mum! You can change the time zone. Click on "Dashboard", then next to the name of your blog it will say "Settings", click on that. Then you'll go to another screen and it will have Edit, Settings etc tabs, and underneath one of the words will be "Formatting". Click on that, and a few rows down you can change the time zone. Love you!! Caro xxx

Hello Maureen - I am missing you today...at the Network and Lyn is meeting me for lunch as she knows I will be missing you. Sounds great so far - I was worried about your flights thru Thailand but you missed the fuss obviously. Great excitiment in my house on Sunday when the Saints won - I actually went to the game with them for a bit of family bonding time and it was a great game - they now have the double chance and as hey play Geelong they will need it I suspect.

Hi there Maur
It's great to read all your travel news. Clearly you are far more active than your brother and sister-in-law. Our travel blog would have read "Slept, swam, read, ate, drank, slept".
Last week Tom's theory was that the Pies threw the game so they wouldn't have to face the Cats. Looks like it's backfired. They'll have to fire the Pies' brains trust, if they can find it. Keep enjoying yourselves. Love L & T
